The Oklahoma Geological Survey (OGS) is hosting a workshop on the role of Oklahoma in the national energy transition. The workshop will explore opportunities and challenges specific to Oklahoma and the midcontinent region presented by the national mandate for an energy diverse, lower-carbon future, including carbon sequestration, geostorage, geothermal energy, and critical mineral exploration. Additionally, the workshop will also include lessons learned for managing produced water and navigating earthquake hazards in the last decade.

Cancellations/Changes and Refunds
Please note: Fees for missed meals, late arrivals, and early departures will not be refunded. Fees will be refunded, less a $20 processing fee, if cancellation or change resulting in a refund is received in writing no later than November 9, 2022. After that date, fees are non-refundable. All refunds will be processed after the workshop. Substitutions are allowed at no charge.
