2025 OU Med REV UP! Application

Welcome to the 2025 application for the OU Health Sciences Center College of Medicine Rise Med program.
The Rise Med program is geared towards increasing the amount of qualified students to enter and succeed in medical school. Participants should possess the following criteria to apply. Preference will be given to students preparing to enter medical school in the next 24 months and to first-generation medical students.

-Actively enrolled or alumni of a qualified Oklahoma higher educational institution
-Applicant must express a desire to go to medical school
-U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
-Minimum Science and Cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
-Have not previously completed the Rev Up program

The 2025 Rise Med program will be a live online course taught by a certified Kaplan MCAT instructor. The course will take place in the evening twice per week over the course of 7 weeks in May and June. Students are asked to dedicate additional time outside of class studying. Sessions will be recorded for students who need to be absent, up to three times per student. More than three absences will result in an automatic withdrawal from the course and a student from the waitlist will move into the course.

I understand that I must commit to attending live sessions of the MCAT prep course and communicating any need to be absent. I will be able to commit several hours per week to MCAT prep throughout May and June.
I am unsure whether I will be able to achieve this time commitment.
