Required documents - Please submit the following required documents in a single PDF:
Application Cover Sheet – see JFF webpage for the form. This form must include all of the required signatures. Abstract (limited to 250 words) Project Description (limited to 5 pages) – should describe the overall research plan for the project. It is recommended that you describe the goals of the project, provide some background to the literature, define the methodology and/or activities within your proposed project and how they relate to your project goals, provide a timeline for the proposed activities and describe how this relates to your request for funding, and describe the anticipated results/achievement of the research project to emphasize quality factors (e.g. publications) and to define the potential for external sponsorship of the research (planned proposals, sponsors, visibility). Career Impact Statement (maximum of one page), References (no page limit), Use of Research Council Funds (maximum 1 page), Budget and Justification (maximum of two pages), Supplementary Information (not counted as part of the page limited noted above) – should include a current copy of your CV, a letter of endorsement from your department chair, and plans to obtain necessary approval letters for projects that will involve human subjects, laboratory animals, rDNA and/or radioactive materials or biohazards.
