Interdisciplinary Collaboration Symposium Application Submission
April is recognized as Interprofessional Education month across the nation. As a method to observe this, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center participates in Unity Week. During this week we highlight and celebrate our IPE activities and programs across campus. The inclusion of a symposium provides an opportunity to showcase the amazing work of our students, faculty, and staff.
Faculty and staff who would like to share information about their interprofessional/interdisciplinary projects are invited to participate in the third annual Interdisciplinary Collaboration Symposium with a digital poster. Works-in-progress can be showcased as well.
Symposium Format
- The symposium will be held virtually on April 26, 2023.
- On the day of the symposium, all accepted posters will be viewable on the IPE website in a PDF format.
- This will happen in conjunction with the student-led Unity Week Poster Hall.
Application Requirements
- Presentations should highlight how their work includes or addresses the IPEC Competencies.
- Demonstrate how participants in the activity are able to learn about, from, and with each other.
- All presentations will require a minimum of two presenters, each from a different profession.
- All posters will require a minimum of two authors, each from a different profession.
Timeline
- March 30: Poster Application Opens
- Applications accepted on a rolling basis
- April 14: Poster Application Deadline
- No submissions past this date
- April 17: All Submissions Notified of Submission Status
- April 21: Digital Poster Submission Due
- April 26: All posters will be viewable on the IPE website
